Your checklist for buying an apartment

You can be one of those individuals who think that it’s too much of renting a place. Or think that maybe it’s time for you to have your own flat or apartment. Which you can proudly call your own. Or maybe you are about to get married and you do not want to spend a loner’s life anymore and you are planning to have your own place and planning to get settled with your partner. But my friend I don’t have any intension to scare you but buying a Real estate(Ejendomsmægler) or an apartment is no less than a magic wizard. We think that it may be like buying a vehicle or buying a TV but it is totally a vice versa. I remember when I planned to buy an apartment I visited so many places where sales of apartment was written but believe me I was bamboozled with so many of the variables. But I want all of you to have some benefit of my experience, in this article I have discussed the points which you are suppose to check upon before making a decision.

Select an area

The first thing you have to do is to select an area. No ifs and but select and area which best suits you and your partner or may be any family you might have. And then start your search.

Have complete knowledge

And when you start searching for sales of apartment(salg af lejlighed) signs make sure that you have the knowledge of recent apartment sales in that particular area. And that is very easily collectible from inexpensive real estate agents(billig ejendomsmægler). Explore it out
Then another must do thing is to visit as many properties as possible. This might sound very hectic and boring but believe me or not this can help you a lot in choosing the best value for your money.

What is nearby?

And once you have got your desired location and desired apartment. Must check that how near this apartment is your daily visited places E.G. Public transport, gym, market, etc. Because having these nearby can add up a lot to your life style.

Do you hate noise?

While considering Apartment’s location another thing that is important is that whether your apartment is at a noisy place or not. Or if it is at a noisy place what will be its peak hour. And whether at that time is it hard for you to handle noise.

Investigate the building

Having a building report is most important of all. Before buying the apartment you must know that what the age of the building is. And what is the current situation of the building. And this also includes the aesthetics of the building. And what kind of repairs you have to go through before settling down in the apartment. Building report will explain it will so make sure that you briefly check it out.

Checkout the fortress

Then you must see that what the security arrangements of the building are. Whether this building does have proper security infrastructure or not.

What are the Add ons?

Then you must see that whether you’re building and your apartment have the perks like balcony so that you don’t feel like caged and can spend a nice summer’s afternoon on your balcony. And whether your apartment building has a parking slot free for you. (In case you have car).

Living costs

Last but not the least you must calculate all the maintenance expenses that you have to bear after coming into the apartment. And this includes all the utility bills and taxes if any. So this is what I could possibly think of. If you have any suggestions or tip that you might want to share please feel free to express in comments field.
